Choir festival

Chant Claire, a 60-voiced semi-professional choral ensemble from Milwaukee will be on tour in Madison, this Sunday, June 7. All are invited to a short concert in the stunning Capitol Rotunda at 10 am and then afterwards at Luther Memorial Church at 4:30 pm for a collaborative concert with the Philharmonic Chorus of Madison.  The two concerts will feature different repertoire selections; come for one or both!
Experience the drama of Randall Thompson’s Peaceable Kingdom, breathtaking Anglican anthems from Howells and Stanford, music of Russia and South Africa, and riveting American music including Moses Hogan and more.

Andrew Schaeffer will accompany on the organ. Admission is free.
