All are invited to join a group bike ride to Lily’s Ice Cream Parlor at the McFarland House (5923 Exchange St, McFarland).

Riders can choose from three routes:

• a 10.4-mile (one-way) ride from LM,
• a 4.3-mile ride from Lake Farm County Park (parking is available at the Capital City Trail head lot just west of Lake Farm Rd),
• or a 1.7-mile ride from McDaniel Park in McFarland. Double that mileage if you plan to return to your starting point.

Riders (age 16+) will need a daily ($5) or annual ($25) state trail pass. Learn more about state trail passes at dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/trailpass.html.

Construction alert

Construction on Siggelkow Road has some effect on our travels. A small portion of the bike trail in McFarland is closed, though there is a street path through our usual route and also a marked bike path detour. Also, those going by car to McDaniel Park (for the short route) will need turn right off US 51 onto Voges Rd/Terminal Dr to get to Siggelkow Rd and the park entrance.
