For this gathering, our focus will be on the book of Psalms.  We’ll start the meeting with a general overview of the book, including historical context, types of psalms and psalm structure, then we’ll spend time exploring each other’s favorite psalms.

We will connect each psalm to the version written in The Words of Her Mouth: Psalms for the Struggle (edited by Martha Sprong).  The Words of Her Mouth re-imagines and retranslates each of the 150 psalms through the lenses of modern female ministers and theologians.

Women’s Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in the church library.

New participants are always welcome! No need to RSVP. You can park underground or in Grand Central and find us in the library on the lower level of the church. Please enter the church through the LM garage.
