Brad Pohlman’s responsibilities include head of staff, preaching, teaching, leading worship and coordinating weddings. He has been on staff at Luther Memorial since 2007. Brad and his wife Joy, a UW librarian, have two adult daughters, the youngest at St. Olaf College.
John Worzala Dumke works in all areas of the congregation’s life, particularly in family ministry. John and his wife Kirsten, a Lutheran clergy and chaplain, have three young children, Roman, Berkeley, and Soren.
Bruce Bengtson’s primary responsibilities include the duties of organist, choir director and instrumental programs of the parish. Director of music is a position he has held since 1978.
Pastor Ninke has served inner city, suburban, and rural congregations in Phoenix, Ariz., Stoughton, Wis., and Brooklyn, Wis.
Sarah Brinkman coordinates the day-to-day work of the church and staff. She is a member of Luther Memorial and has been on staff since 2014. She previously worked for 25 years as a journalist, including 12 years in Madison. Her interests include sewing, biking, gardening and walks with her dog.
Ann McDermott directs the training choir for children kindergarten through second grade, a position she has held since 2010. She is also a music specialist at the Preschool of the Arts and owner of the Ann McDermott Piano Studio. She was educated at the UW-Madison.
Kim O’Leary’s responsibilities are in the financial, facility, human resource and administration areas. She has served Luther Memorial as church administrator since 2001. She is nationally certified in church administration through The Church Network, and is the author of Socially Responsible Investment: A Biblical Perspective (2006).
Suelyn works collectively with staff and laity to promote the mission of Luther Memorial, with emphasis on strategic planning, stewardship, communication and membership development. She has a background in graphic design and communication management and an MA in philanthropy and development.
Robin Wagner produces print and web publications for Luther Memorial. She studied jazz performance at the UW-Stevens Point and the University of Minnesota.
Dan Zerger takes care of the church facilities and assists as sound operator and custodian for weddings. He has been with Luther Memorial since 2008. He and his family are Luther Memorial members.
