The adult choir has over 50 members of all ages, including UW students. New members in all voice parts are welcome; no audition is required. The choir sings sacred music ranging from plainsong chant to contemporary compositions at 10:30 am Sunday and at festival services. (The choir usually has the second Sunday of the month off.) The choir sings in English, Latin, and occasionally German or Russian (Church Slavonic).

Adult choir repertoire
LM holds a monthly chanted compline service. The chant choir of 6-8 singers under the direction of Chelsea Propst. The choir sings in English and Latin.
Rehearsals: Once a month on Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30 pm, Choir Room.
Ages: Grades K-2
The training choir, under the direction of Ann McDermott, introduces children to the joys of choral singing. Learning fundamentals of music, such as rhythm and dynamics, is fun in this lively choir. This choir has 8-10 members. Occasionally they sing at the Sunday liturgy.

Ages: Grade 3-6
The children’s choir leads the singing of the liturgy at the 8 am service the first Sunday of the month. Children in the choir are immersed in the language of prayer and praise through the singing of scripture and hymn texts. The choir currently consists of 5-8 singers.

Ages: Grade 7-12
The youth choir leads the singing of the liturgy at 10:30 am service on the second Sunday of the month and other Sundays or festivals as scheduled. The choir consists of 10-12 singers.
Rehearsals: Sundays, 5-6 pm, Choir Room
The recorder ensemble of 5-8 players, performs 2-4 times per year. They play prelude, postlude and occasionally music during the distribution of Holy Communion. The ensemble is open to all ages.

The bell choir of 13 ringers, plays a few times per year at the Sunday liturgy and at some festivals. This multigenerational choir plays a wide range of handbell literature, with the church’s 5-octave and a 2-octave sets of Malmark bells.

Summer choir sings at the 10:30 service June-August. We normally have 10-20 singers each Sunday. This choir is open to all members, friends and visitors. No audition is required, and singers are welcome to participate as summer schedule permits.
