The Rev. Harvey Peters, former pastor of Luther Memorial, has donated about 40 books to the Library, including a 15-volume reference source for Bible scholars, the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament and the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament. The collection also includes translations of sermons and lectures of European theologians Helmut Thielicke of Germany and Emil Brunner of Switzerland.

The Luther Memorial Church Library is in the undercroft at the southwest corner of the crossing. It is open Sunday mornings or by stopping at the church office during the week.

The library has videos, compact discs, and magazines as well as books for all ages.

The catalogs of about 1,500 items are now online:

The catalogs by title, author, and subject also are in a white binder on the table. To borrow an item, sign the card on the inside back cover and place the card in the box on the table.
