Christ Jesus placed a little child among his disciples and said, “Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” With such teaching, our Lord elevates vulnerable children as models of humility.  Luther Memorial Church is committed to nurturing and protecting children.  The Congregation Council, through the Personnel and Staff Support Committee, has established a policy for protecting the vulnerable.  Everyone who works with children in the Congregation’s ministry must consent to a background check and agree to work within the policy’s parameters.
