Bratfest and Jell-o Art Contest
Summer 2006
The annual congregational picnic had fun for all ages.
Margaret Miner and her son Paul won the Jell-o art contest with their representation of the baby Moses in a basket along the bank of the Nile River. Other entries depicted Jesus calming the storm, by Marie Weinstein; a boat on the shore with a net full of fish, by Bonnie Gruber, and the cut rope of a boat, by Judy Braham.
People enjoyed sunshine, conversation, and a meal of bratwurst, baked beans, chips, watermelon, and homemade salads.
Games included egg races and a three-legged race.
