Dozens of Luther Memoriam members give of their time, talents, and money during the busy Advent season to prepare for Christmas services.
They decorate the church with evergreen garlands, wreaths, and trees. Even young children help.
Volunteers set up large trees, test strings of lights, and string them on the trees. Poinsettias, donated in honor or memory of loved ones, are arranged around the trees and high altar.
Children's and youth choirs (pictured together here), adult choir, and instrumental ensembles rehearse.
Others make costumes for little lambs, shepherds, and angels and help children put the costumes on for the living nativity.

On Christmas Eve, happy worshipers enter the church, proud parents photograph their children in costume, and all ar ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
